Drag Me To Hell

Central to the Kerrang! media promotion for DMTH, Stretch developed an event for contestants to compete ‘live’ for a £1,000 cash prize.  A series of ‘Hellish’ challenges were posted on line for the public to vote for their favourite tasks. Challenges included: eating maggots, plucking sheep’s eyes from a bucket with mouth, time test in sealed box, head in box of bugs, eating brain burger, drinking offal smoothie, taking bones out of bowl of maggots with teeth, and eating a baked Tarantula! Six winners were taken to a desolate warehouse in Birmingham to face the challenges with the most votes from Kerrang! fans.  Contestants competed for the top position either individually or together, via speed tests to eat/drink, or number of items (eyes) transported, or hooked up to a heart monitor – lowest heart rate winning out. The overall winner took away a well deserved £1,000 cash prize.
