To build fan buzz and excitement around the much anticipated launch of HBO’s Game Of Thrones – Series 4, Stretch were commissioned by Sky Atlantic to create a fan event at The O2 cinema. Working with over 15 specialist suppliers, we created a screening marathon event showing Series 3 back to back over 12 hours on the big screen the day before the new series launched worldwide.
We hired professional actors and authentic costumes to interact with fans, who were stamp-branded with a House emblem on entry to the event. Theming and lighting dressed a hospitality space that served up roasted chicken, pies and potato, rustic cheeses and cobs of bread on slates, keeping with the atmosphere of the medieval era. And to capture the memory forever, a replica throne was installed for fans to get photographed on.
Introduced by Sky’s Director of Entertainment, Stuart Murphy, customers enjoyed a unique and immersive experience that only their favourite TV provider could offer.
