Over four years, we built the film side of Sky TV’s customer loyalty programme, negotiating with Distribution for the best films to be screened at cinemas nationwide and for free to the Sky Movies customer base. We delivered the biggest media-owned advance screening programme of its kind in the world with over 250,000 customers participating in the cinematic events every year. Strategically scheduling the films to cover multiple genres in order to appeal across Sky’s broad and diverse audience, the programme included box office smashes Iron Man 3, Monsters University, Man of Steel, The Croods, Star Trek Into Darkness, Captain Phillips and Gravity. In fact in 2013, we secured 11 of the 20 biggest grossing films with Sky, more than any other partner.
And by managing the promotion end to end, we are able to adapt the geographical reach to match the ever developing audience profile. In total, we have worked with over 80% of the UKs multiplexes over the life of the promotion as well as dozens of regional independents.
